Harmon's have been busy! I know that you are all surprised by this:) The boys have been busy with basketball,competitive baseball,and school. Sometimes I feel that we rarely get a chance to enjoy life. I decided that we needed a vacation so we took the boys to California to Disneyland and of course to The Husky Bowl game. Guess which activity my boys loved the most....:) After our vacation I decided Drew and I needed a vacation without our kids so we went on a cruise! We almost didn't come back! It was fun to take a break from reality!

#1 Football Team!

Conner's football team came in first place! It was an exciting game and Conner played great despite his sprained finger! I have come to terms with the fact that my child loves football and will be injured often! It is hard to watch but fun also.
He is number 14 in the picture. He plays 1st string tight end and 1st string strong safety. I just love this kid!

LIFE

I have received a ton of mocking about my blog. A year ago I stated I was BACK and then never blogged again:) The only defense I have is LIFE! The Harmons are busy! We have done a ton of things this year and if I were to blog it all it would be a book. The boys are amazing! I know that I am biased but they really are! They are doing well in all things! YEAH! They are all playing baseball and two are playing football as well. Our evenings are spent at the ball park. Conner went to EFY this summer and attended his first stake dance! He is growing up to fast. Peyton is my happy go lucky kid! He likes everyone and they like him! He climbed his first 14 this year! Both my teenagers are still good to me! I am knocking on wood as I speak! Rylan has the greatest rock collection any person has ever seen and he has finally decided to do his homework with out conflict! Happy Day! Karter is 15 according to him! He thinks he is big and proves it by hanging with Conner and his friends at all events! I think he is spoiled! Drew is busy with work,church and coaching baseball with the boys. They adore him and so do I! I have been busy with girls camp,kids,work,running,biking,swimming and playing:) I just finished a triathlon with my sister Gina! It was great to come across the finish line with her! At times I feel overwhelmed with all that I have on my plate, then I realize how blessed my life has been and I feel extremely grateful. ( Gina The blog is updated)

I'm Back!

It has been a long time since my last post! I have been running around like a crazy person. I have finally realized that I will forever be at sporting events with my four boys. For the last few months we have been at the baseball park every night during the week for games, then we are at football games on the weekend! Now that baseball and football have ended, I finally have time to sit down and relax....at least until basketball starts. I have tried without success to convince my boys that they would have more skiing time if we skipped a season of basketball, but they are die hards. Here are some videos of the boys in their sports!

The Train Ride to NO PLACE SPECIAL!

I took the boys on a Union Pacific Train Ride the other day. I felt it was long and boring, but my boys felt like they had won the lottery! They were able to sit on the very top, so they could see everything. It is funny how easy they are to please!

Rylan is my middle child. He often displays the characteristics of a middle child....Nothing is fair, no one likes me, I have to do everything! Although he is in this unfortunate position in our family, he also displays greatness! He does not enjoy video games or television, he would rather go on an adventure then sit on the couch. He loves nature, rocks and scientific things are his passion. He loves sports and does well in school. Rylan often writes me messages on his chalk board in his room, the last one said " Happy Mothers Day Mom and Happy birthday, you grow up so fast! Love Rylan." Even though my sweet boy feels he often gets the short end of the stick, he is truly loved and appreciated for all his gifts and talents!

RACING......SOMETIMES YOUR BODY SAYS NO!

I did a race in Moab, I love this race! I was excited, prepared and ready for a fun day with my friends.......but it wasn't meant to be! I knew by mile 4 that the race was going to be rough for me. I started letting things get into my head before the race started, because I took a nasty fall on some rocks. That did not help my mental strategy! I can't say if it was physical sickness, mental or both but I was not feeling good at all! I luckily had a sweet love friend who ran with me and kept me going! At the end, my time was not bad considering I wanted to die! I don't remember much of the race because I felt like I was going to pass out throughout most of it, but I do remember My friend Carla grabbing my hand at the finish line and telling me to smile for the camera! It is all about how you look doing it! I love running, I love being social with my girls, and even though I had a bad race, I can't wait to do it again!

My sweet love Karter Tre' just turned 4 years old! For all of you who are wondering, he is doing really well and I think he has fully recovered from his illness! I have so many fun things to say about this sweet boy, but since I don't have all day I thought I would post one thing about him that makes us all smile! No matter where he is or what time of day it is, when Karter is tired he will fall asleep! He has fallen asleep mid sentence, during dinner, sitting up, anywhere! My big boys love to take pictures of him while he is sleeping, so we will dedicate his birthday blog to his strange sleeping habits!! We love you sweet boy!

WHEN IT RAINS IT POURS!

I haven't updated my blog this month because it has been so depressing! I usually try to put fun things on my blog and even now I am having a hard time thinking of what to write. A good friend of mine lost her husband to Cancer this last week, he was 32 years old. She is now left with two year old twins to raise alone. We just kept hoping for a miracle and when they said terminal it was heart breaking! This alone was enough but the bad didn't stop there. My little Karter came down with a disease! The word is frightening isn't it! I won't mention the name because I don't want my blog to show up every time someone looks it up! Before I continue I will say that we now believe that Karter is fine and that this will soon be a bad memory. He had an allergic reaction to a virus and His body started attacking itself. It is very rare and self limiting, but It attacks your kidneys and other organs. MY poor baby was covered in spots that looked like he was beaten and the disease left him with arthritis in he joints so that he could hardly walk. The swelling got so bad that we thought he had broken bones and we even got x-rays! His head became swollen and he looked like Hermon Munster! It has been almost 4 weeks now and he is starting to feel a little better but still has pain when he walks. They put him on steroids which has helped and his last tests showed that his kidneys looked okay! We will have to go to the doctor every month for a year to check his kidney function but at least He is getting better. It is hard to see a 3 year old in pain! Karter was really not doing well and I know that it is because of every ones prayers that he has started to recover! There have been people in our community that are not members that asked us if they could pray for him! What a blessing to have such sweet friends looking after our family. I feel grateful for my life and my blessings! Next month I am hoping for some sunshine!

We had a very fun Christmas with My sister Gina and her husband Jon! Santa came, the kids had to do the Christmas story with out a Mary, We made our rice crispy castles, and the Hot Tub became our favorite evening activity! Family, food and fun I love Christmas!

Devils Thumb

Every Saturday I go on a "long Run" with my running group! Usually it is anywhere from 6 to 12 miles. This last Saturday we went on one of my favorite trail runs! The trail is a hard run up, but once you get to the top there is a cabin that you can sign your name in. The best part is the view! Colorado has amazing trails with beautiful views, it's really worth getting up early for! They call the trail the "Devils Thumb" because of the rock formation that can look like a thumb sticking out. This weekend I am leaving for Las Vegas to do a Half Marathon with my girl friends, I can't wait! Jeena and Gina will both be missed!

My friend Jeena and I had an Indiana Jones party last month! The boys had to eat scary things,dig up bones,find a treasure in the wilderness,run from a boulder and take a dip in the Crystal Waters! We made a cake and dressed the boys up! It was very fun for everyone!

This post is late but life has been busy! Drew and I went to California for our 15 year Anniversary. We had a great time. We relaxed and did a ton of beach time!!! What else do you go to California for? My sister Gina and her husband Jon live there and so they helped us celebrate by doing some serious boogie boarding! I loved every minute of it. I loved spending time with my sweetie also! What a great life.

Every year Drew and some friends of ours go to Rock Jam! It is about 15 miles or so from our house and so fun. We love the music, the food, and most of all making fun of the crazy drunk oddly self confident nasty people! "I love Rock and Roll" My favorite, Joan Jett was there!!!!

The Peach Festival

We decided to go on an adventure the weekend before school started! THE PEACH FESTIVAL....we know how to go big! It was a tainted trip starting with me breaking my flip flop. Then 45 min. later we boarded a stinky bus that took us to the blessed event which consisted of about 12 booths give or take and little or no food!
Of course they had rides that were $5.00 a piece. Andrew just loved this experience so much.

My Favorite Gift

My 15 year anniversary is tomorrow and so I must talk about my favorite gift I have ever received! Last year for my anniversary my sweetie bought me a new mountain bike! This was not just any mountain bike but one I had been drooling over for at least a year! I have to say it will never be topped, so this year there will be no gift just a fun trip to California with my love! I really do live the sweet life!

My son Rylan is not the happiest child. He is just a little negative about things. So when we went on a little day trip to Glenwood Springs, and he said it was "The best day of my life" You know it had to be a fantastic time! We went up the mountain and road a coaster down, we did a swing off the side of the mountain and collected gems! Then of course we went to the hotsprings and let the kids do the water slides! The boys and I had a great time! To bad dad had to work, but someone has to pay for our fun!

Grandma and Grandpa Rogers came to our house this week! They always come on their way to the family reunion and it is our tradition to go on a bike ride with GPA! The kids love it and so does Grandpa! I forgot my camera on the ride but I got a nice picture of Karter and GPA at the end of the ride. The boys had already went in the house to die from exhaustion. GPA took them 8 miles with a few good uphills. Thanks Grandpa, we love you!

We have had a good time so far this summer, and I have been receiving complaints on my blogging or lack of! So here it is....... The middle boys went to scout day camp, it was great who doesn't love hanging out with hundreds of little boys all at once? Conner went to his first Scout Camp he earned 7 merit badges and so Drew was happy! We did some boating, fishing, a ton of swimming. Conner had a birthday, We went to 7 peaks for Gina's birthday and My sister and I did a triathlon together in Park city! I didn't get a ton of pictures of that but you can see them on my Frunner's site! We have been doing well and loving our break from schedules! HAPPY SUMMER!

Rylan's Baptism!

Our Sweet Rylan was baptised! We didn't have a lot of family come, but Aunt Gina and Uncle Jon were here along with Drew's two brothers so Ry was happy! We had a great 4th of July weekend, the boys camped out at the state park with dad and some friends, and we watched the fireworks from there! Sorry no pics of that event! Saturday Gina and Jon came and we did some monument hikes which was fun! That night Rylan was baptised and he said he felt "a small tickle in his heart" It was cute. Then we went to Red Robin for dinner as Rylan requested!

We went to Aunt Karen's wedding and visited Aunt Gina and Uncle Jon! We loved to see Karen and her new Spouse! Hopefully they will come and visit soon! Uncle Jon was the life of the party! The boys played around the whole time!

We have had a ton of crazy things going on this summer already! We are putting in a pool Yeah! So that means dirt and half a yard. The kids have had lots of fun just hanging with friends and of course baseball! Drew and I have been training for another triathlon, which takes all our free time, but we love it! I love the summer!

Karter Tre' has been eaten alive by the little bugs here and his eye was almost closed shut! The boys all were determined to find the bugs in our back yard and do experiments with them! Best of all Rylan had his birthday! The big #8 we had a fun evening with friends!

Spring and Baseball

Well here we go again! It is the season for baseball! With three boys playing we have been going to three or four games week! Poor Karter is being brainwashed into loving baseball! It is truly all he thinks about! Drew coaches all the boy's teams so he bought a uniform for Karter and he is the official bat boy for Rylan's team. Conner and Peyton are playing in Majors which is crazy! Peyton looks so little against those tall boys. Today when I came home from my run I saw napkins all over my family room floor. I asked Karter what he was doing and he told me he was putting down bases for his baseball game. Everyday he plays this imaginary baseball game with kids from Ry's team. It is so funny to hear him yell at the kids telling them to run and slide home! I decided to record it and took a few pics of him pitching to his invisible friend. He also made Drew hit but he had to wear a helmet....safety first!

I have often wondered what my life would be like with girls around since they are rarely seen at my house. I have wondered if I am missing out on anything when I see my friends go on mom and daughter dates, but then I look at my boys and know I would never have it any other way! There is never a dull moment at my house and my boys are always doing something crazy! I love when they greet me with a sweet hug or a joke to make me laugh(usually about some bodily function). Thank heaven for little boys!

Okay, so my children love music! They love all music, but they really love rock! I blame Drew. He is a great drummer and he always has loud music playing in the house! As a mom you often worry that other mothers will look down on some of your parenting decisions, but not me! I really don't care what other mothers think, because if you know my boys, they are fun, crazy, polite, and very entertaining, and that is all I care about. To get to my point, last week Drew and I surprised our boys at school and took them to Denver for a BON JOVI AND DAUGHTRY CONCERT! It was quite the adventure! On our way interstate 70 was closed because of an accident and the weather was bad! Snow in April, who would have guessed! As we were driving, Peyton, my sweet boy got car sick! We couldn't stop because it was so icy so he had to roll down the window and puke on our car and anyone else that passed us! As bad as Drew and I felt we couldn't stop laughing it was just so crazy!(Now I admit that is bad parenting, but it really was funny.) About six 1/2 hours later we made it to our concert, and I must say IT ROCKED! The boys had fun, and so did we! It will go in my journal as one of my favorite memories!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend! We had a last minute Easter egg hunt and BBQ with our friends on Saturday and a fun family get together on Sunday! The boys got lots of candy and a few prizes from the Easter Bunny and Aunt Gina and Jon came to visit as well! Karter Tre' had fun at church, he came home with a brown spotted shirt! You have to love chocolate. With all the fun that was had we also remembered our savior and his love for us on this special occasion.

SPRING BREAK ARIZONA!!!!

We went on spring break with our friends the Jolley's. It was awesome! We took a nanny to watch the kids so that we could play in the evenings. We rented a house in Gilbert which is close to Phoenix. I have to say we did not document all the fun with photos and that makes me sad but we got a few good shots! The house was on a lake and had a boat that we rented. The kids went fishing, played in the pool, went to the zoo, and of course we went to SPRING TRAINING FOR THE MARINERS! It was lucky that they were also playing the ROCKIES! The Adults went to amazing restaurants, gained a ton of weight, saw a few movies, went mountain biking, got injured, One adult received stitches(me, I clipped out on a cactus and had to go to Tyler's friends dental office where Tyler the orthodontist did surgery on my hand and gave me a few stitches! It was still great!) On our mountain biking (which really isn't good in Arizona compared to Colorado), all the cacti were giving us the "BIRD" So Tyler had to demonstrate as well. Jeena and I layed out and read books while the kids swam and the guys slept! So fun, relaxing, and warm! It was hard to come back to Colorado! We also got a picture of the place Forest Gump ran to in the movie! What more could we ask for?

I ran in the Canyonlands Half Marathon last weekend on our way out of town for spring break! It was beautiful and very fun! This was my second time in the race. I ran with my running group friends THE FRUNNERS. My sister and her Husband were there also. I usually try to run hard and beat my last time but this time I promised my friend that I would take it easy so that we would not be soar for our vacation. I did and It was nice to run for fun!

Karter Tre' is Three!

My baby turned three on March 9th. He is the funniest child ever! He asked for a baseball cake and a bat, ball, and helmet! Could he have 3 older brothers? He has some funny things that he says now. When he is mad he says holy trap! When he thinks he is getting the raw end of the deal he say "Whuda heck." He has to have "rock and row" in the car so he can drum to it. If we want him to do something that he doesn't want to do he says"Too Bad" and walks away! His favorite songs to sing are : Sum beaps (sunbeams), I am a child of God, and of course, Slow Ride by Foghat. When he says prayers he says" thank you for I go to Jenni's house(our neighbor), thank you for President Hinky who died, and President Monson. Thank you for I go to bed, and thank you for boys, mom and dad and papa and grandmas. Thank for I have a birthday. Then he end it however he decides. I could go on and on about his little things but I won't! I am sad to see him grow up!

We have found the next "American Idol." His name is Karter Tre' Harmon! A few nights ago Drew and I were watching our DVR of American Idol and out of nowhere Karter came with a microphone and started copying their singing! It was so funny. Drew also woke up the next day to Karter dressed in Conner's snowboarding helmet and boots. He was ready to go skiing! It is hard to have such a cute kid running around our house, but we manage!

MY DREW

I love my husband! We have been married for almost fifteen years and I still feel excited to see him when he comes home at night! So for Valentine's Day I thought I would write down the things I love about MY DREW.

I love the way he makes me laugh! He is always doing something funny.

I love the way he plays with our children. He coaches all of them in sports as well.

I love how he takes care of our family.

I love his sarcasm.

I love how he yells at the T.V. if his team is doing poorly. (this happens often)

I love it when he takes me to concerts and we dance and yell together.

I love that he hates being with a big group of people and would rather hang out at home with me.

I love that he loves to be active.

I love taking trips with him.

I admire his dedication to his callings in church.

I love his beautiful eyes.

I love that he plays the drums, and our house is always rocking out.

I love that at the age of 36 he decided to take piano lessons.

I love that he shares my love for 24.

I love that we both become addicted to the same things.

I love that he lets me have my space and freedom.

I love to play golf with him.

I love that he bought me hipwaiters so that I could go DUCK HUNTING with him.(I never will!)

I love his OCDs.

I love that he could quote any Adam Sandler movie.

I love that he could quote ANY scripture at any given time.

I love to watch him play baseball. And that his goal is to take our boys to every major league field in the U.S.

I love his confidence and lack of fear.

There are so many more things that I love about him but what I love most is that through good and bad we are still in love and perfect for each other.

Superbowl Party!

This year my son Conner suckered Drew and I into letting him invite a few friends over to watch the big game. He was so excited and apparently his excitement got the better of him and he invited everyone he could. It really turned out fun! The boys ate and they fought over which team would win and at half time they went out in the winter cold to play their own half time football game! It was a hoot! In the end the best team won and all was well in the Harmon home!

Basketball 24/7

Yes that time of year has come when we Harmons spend our days, weeks, and hours practicing and playing......You guessed it BASKETBALL! Heaven forbid they would have children from the same school and family play their games at the same location that would be way to easy! Instead the Harmon family travels to all corners of Grand Junction to view our three boys in their great sporting battles! It would really be a drag if they weren't all so good at the sport! I having very little coordination in any group sport, have loved watching my boys score baskets at the games! Sometimes I even lose myself and yell so loud and so much that the boys have to remind me that it can be embarrassing to have their mother be so vocal but I just can't help myself! Here are a few pictures of Conner and Rylan. Peyton didn't have a game last week so he will be shown at a later date. My camera skills are lacking as well, you can hardly see my kids in any picture but owell it is what it is!

My three older boys have decided that they need to snowboard! Today we went for our second lesson! Conner has had a few more lessons than the younger two! At the end of the day their instructor said, " Your boys confidence out ways their skills." He thought it was so funny that after half a lesson they felt they were ready for the bigger lifts! Oh to be young! They had a great day, we all did. We didn't get pictures of Rylan because he was in a little kids lesson and I forgot my camera the first day. Anyway here are the boys showing of their sweet skills!

Sledding into a New Year

New Years Eve we went to a party with our kids. We ate Crab legs, shrimp, and great steaks! We played games and stayed up until 2:30 a.m.! It was fantastic! On New Years Day we went sledding with some friends. What a great start to a wonderful New Year! I hope everyone is having a great New Year!

HOLIDAY HAPPENINGS

We learned many things this holiday season and enjoyed all our fun! We started our fun off with Aunt Gina and Uncle Jon coming to visit on Sat. We greeted them with our pal Rosco(my friends poodle or horse) that we were watching! Karter Tre's new best friend! Next of course came sushi! We learned that Karter is a fan! Karter got close with Aunt G on the couch, I think Jon was jealous. He should be, Karter has stolen many hearts away.

We learned that with four boys it is hard to act out the nativity! Who will be Mary? Of course we persuaded Karter because he wanted to hold the baby Jesus! We learned that boys don't have the ability to be quiet during a "spiritual" moment on the night before Christmas! We also learned that my sweet boys do not have angelic voices when singing carols! So much fun was had by all! The boys loved their presents and played happily all day! We went sledding,shooting(guns,paint balls,and BBS),and the adults did some nice runs in preparation of the upcoming marathon. We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! We love and miss you all!

Is # 7 Lucky or Unlucky?

Last week I watched my friends kids for four days while she was in Brazil, she has three little boys. With my boys that makes seven! They are good kids so I figured no problem. I should add that she didn't ask me to do it, I volunteered. All was going well they were happy having a great time then the bad luck hit us! They came down with the stomach flu!!!! My house smelled like puke and diarrhea! Poor boys, they were dropping like flies one after the other! We still managed to do some fun things, we wrote letters to Santa and we looked at Christmas lights and made Christmas Castles out of rice crispy treats!!! I have always felt that seven was a lucky number but now I'm not so sure! I have to say, it was definitely an adventure!

We did a family picture! It takes a ton of planning to get my kids and Drew on a schedule that will fit in a 30 min. photo shoot! By the time we all got there I was feeling like getting rid of a few kids, Karter Tre' was crying and the older boys were fighting. I could feel my hair going flat and my makeup fading. Thank goodness for Kellene! she is my friend and a professional photographer. She had fun comments that got the boys smiling and snacks to keep Karter happy. The boys were like models in their individual shots and Karter was a total ham. Twenty minutes past the time of our appointment, Drew decided to grace us with his presence. The kids were fading, I was faded and the family photo shoot began! Kellene just clicked the camera as fast as she could and I prayed for at least one good picture. For all the craziness of the day I thought we came out okay! So enjoy the first family picture that includes Karter Tre'.....who is almost three. There won't be another until they go on missions!! HEE HEE!

Here are some pictures that I just found. They are from our trip to Flaming Gorge in September. The cabin we were at had a ton of nails coming out of the deck so the kids had fun hammering them back in! Who needs T.V. with fun like that. There are also Pictures from the pumpkin patch and trick or treating. Drew loaded up all the kids in the neighborhood in the back of his truck and he and some other dads took the kids around. The kids and some friends made some haunted castles out of rice crispy treats as well. I wasn't kidding when I said we were busy this month!

I am back! What a fun and crazy month we have had! The boys have been playing hard and having fun! We went to see The Harlem Globe Trotters. It was fun and Karter was given a Shoe from one of the players. It was almost as big as he is. We went to parties for Halloween and Andrew and Conner went hunting/fishing with Uncle Jon and had a blast even though they only caught one fish! The weather was warm for trick or treating and everyone got a ton of candy! The boys dug a community in the dirt with their friends and played their new favorite video game guitar hero. All is well!

I have been so busy lately with well my life and I have found very little time to write in this blog! A few things that have been fun the last few weeks were Jon and Gina came and visited. That always brings a smile to my face! What fun we had! We really didn't do much but we managed to enjoy ourselves! Next against my better judgement we got a dog! She is a chocolate lab and lets just say I was out voted! I am not a great animal lover, but she is trying really hard to win me over. The boys love her and she is sweet so who knows she might be my only chance at a girl. So other than baseball four nights a week and Karter Tre' during the day, and Pta, and working at my friends store once a week, and mountain biking, running, taking a masters swimming class at mesa state, homework,scouts, Sunday school lessons, piano lessons,and hanging out with Drew my life is .............like any other mothers! isn't it fun!

Every year in our small town of Grand Junction we have concerts out in the desert! This year the groups that came were..... Chicago, Foreigner, and my favorite DEF LEOPARD!!!! It was a blast. We met up with our friends the Jolley's during a break and took some pics!

Today my little bubba was sick. I, a loving,caring mother decided to document his first big flu bug of the year! It was a sad, lazy, sick day that I hated and loved at the same time. My little Karter is usually so crazy and active that it was kind of nice just having him laying by me all day. Cleaning up all the puke on the other hand was not a great time! Hopefully tomorrow he will be good as new!

We have had some fun this summer and it has all come to an end. Some people are happy that the school year has begun, I am not one of those people! The beginning of school means no more horsing around during the middle of the day. No more lazy mornings and relaxed days. Instead we have early mornings, responsibilities and pressures. Each school year I see my sweet boys getting bigger, becoming less naive, and becoming less likely to be lovey with their mother in public. They will start caring more about what their friends think, and slowly they will become little men!!! Sadness for me!! So when I hear my friend say "I can't wait for school to start" I think, I have lost one more year. I have my Conner for 8 more years before he leaves and I can't stand the thought of not having him here all the time. I know there are great things about your kids getting older, but there is nothing in the world that compares to holding your little guy and rocking them to sleep, or having your boys come off the bus on their first day of school, walk over to you and give you a hug and a kiss without caring who is watching them. Those are the sweet moments in life and slowly they are slipping away......I will miss them!

Drew and I went out of town for our anniversary to the secluded little town of Ouray! We stayed at this place that had it's own private hot springs and vapor caves.......Sooooo fun! Then we took some hikes up to a few different waterfalls! The weekend was relaxing and wonderful!! This marked 14 years for us and I can say we have never been happier!! I love you babe!

Lake, Family, Friends and FUN!

Saturday we went to the lake with some friends. Karter tubed for the first time and Conner had his first tube war against his mom, where she severely humiliated him!! Our friends the Jolley's came with us and between the boating, the food and the fishing it was a fantastic day!!!!

The summer is always full of great adventures, and for the Harmon Family there is always a family gathering in July! There was the annual bike ride with Grandpa Frank.... We started at 6:00 a.m. and rode the river trail eight miles. What a treat for the kids!! Then we had some great entertainment by the Caucasian Ray Charles...Aka Karter Tre'

We had a quick visit from Terrel and Delores, our friends from Texas and there kids. It was fun for the kids and adults!

Family fun must contain a visit to the cabin! Our cabin is set up in the hills in Colorado and you can see from the pictures it is beautiful!! The boys went 4-wheeling with uncle Jay and there was food, games and fun! What a great time we had with our family and friends!

Our Karter Tre' has three things essential to his happiness....... There is Baseball, he loves it! This child will watch baseball, play baseball and wear anything that has to do with baseball!! Next on his list of loves would be animals. Karter will pet any animal big or small he has no fear!

And last on his list, I'm embarassed to say is the bottle! Thats right at two years old he is still attached to the bottle. I don't know if it is because he is our baby but we just can't seem to deprive him of it! Maybe it is because it seems to truly bring him great HAPPINESS!

The road to Vail is paved with fun!

We went on an adventure in Vail while Drew was at a doctors appointment for his knee. First we found ourselves on a trail leading us to no where. The boys were troopers! Then we found the river, hours of rock throwing preceded. When we found the gondola the real fun began! The ride up was exciting and a little scary for Karter Tre'. We didn't realize what fun lay ahead at the top of the mountain! There was a dinosaur dig, a nature museum and a trampoline with a lot of bounce! Of course there was only one among us who was brave enough to take the jump............you guessed it, RYLAN THE BRAVE, or CRAZY! What a great day we had!!!

Last weekend, I took my nanny/daughter to California for her senior trip! We went to visit my favorite people, my sister Gina and her husband Jon. They were possible the best hosts I have ever had. They made everything a great adventure and I loved every minute of it! Gina first took us to the Getty Museum and then we did what everyone wants to do in California....GO TO THE BEACH!!!! We had days of beach fun and bike rentals! Let me not forget the experience of Jon at the farmer's market, and eating at great restaurants!!! What a trip, definitely one of my favorites but you can't go wrong when Gina is involved, because we all know no matter what she says, she is.......THE LIFE OF THE PARTY!!!!

Swimming.......

Biking........
Dying!!!!!!

Today, I did my first Triathlon. I loved it, I hated it , I wanted to quit, and then I loved it again because it was over! I finished strong in my swim and I did well on the bike, but the run (the one sport I felt confident in)was the longest 6.1 miles of my life! It was hot and I was out of energy! In the end I finished 2nd in my age group and threw up six or seven times. Would I do it again.......YOU BET! There are few things better than pushing yourself to the edge and proving that you can do it!

War and Marshmallows

Whoever said you can't have fun without spending a ton of money has never had a marshmallow gun war!! This year for Father's Day and Conner's birthday we had a war......every man for himself!! It was a blast I would recommend it to anyone. I found the instructions on the internet ! It was cheap and very easy to put together! The boys loved it!

Four Boys = Baseball

We are a Baseball family! At least three nights a week in the spring we are at a baseball field! Conner and Peyton play on a Major-minor team and Rylan is on a minor team! We are at the field so often that Karter Tre' thinks he is a professional baseball player. Here are some pictures of the boys last game. Conner is pitching in one picture and then catching in the next! We have a crazy coach (Drew) and he changes there positions often. Peyton played out field and then second base and Conner also played first base! Ya gotta love the spring!

Road Trip!!

The Harmon Crew went on a road trip!! It was our stake temple day and we deceided to make a mini vacation out of it. First there was the ride to Monticello, which as you can see consisted of Wendy's and Movies...good times! Next was the always popular Temple Photo, without a good picture of the Temple. Then we decided to explore Arches National Park in Moab and that's when the adventure began!!! We hiked to The Delicate Arch which was three miles in the hot sun and Karter was not thrilled with his mode of transportation! The boys were all troopers and we made it without losing any lives. With boys,that is a modern day miracle. Next stop was the sand dunes which quickly became the favorite place for the Harmon Crew! It was an hour of sand entertainment. Then last but not least, we had dinner at a pizza place and at the end of the day Karter Tre' took up poll dancing!! What talent he has. Who knew we could have so much fun in one day!!
